According to Bookwitch, Charlie Higson made an appearance yesterday at Puffin as a part of their 2008 Preview of new books. Even though he was listed as the main attraction, the blog reports Charlie was “forcibly dragged to the presentation” (his words, I expect) as he is still hard at work on Young Bond 5.

Charlie spoke a little about Young Bond 5, but jokingly threatened to kill anyone who pressed for more details. However, he did once again tease that the Royal Family would somehow be involved in Young Bond’s final adventure.

Young Bond 5 -- which currently has the working title The Shadow War -- is due for release in the UK on September 4, 2008.
