This is an alert far in advance (don’t worry, we’ll remind you closer to the date), but it has just been announced that Charlie Higson will be appearing at Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival in Harrogate on Friday, July 18, 2008.
Charlie will take part in a panel discussion entitled “James Bond the spy we love.” The panel will be chaired by Simon Brett from Macmillan, and will also include Philip Kerr (Quercus), Joseph Finder (Headline), and Catherine Sampson (Macmillan). The talk is sponsored By Penguin.
Held at the Crown Hotel in Harrogate, the annual festival is Europe’s biggest crime writing event, bringing together the very best in crime fiction in a series of events, interviews, and panel sessions.
