According to a listing at BBC Audiobooks, noted english actor Nathaniel Parker will read the unabridged audiobook version of Charlie Higson’s fourth Young Bond novel, Hurricane Gold. The 8-disc CD set is due for release in the UK by Chivers Children’s Audiobooks on June 2, 2008.

An abridged version of Hurricane Gold read by author Charlie Higson is currently available from Puffin Audio.

Presumably, Parker’s reading will also be available in the U.S. from Random House/Listening Library (so far Parker has read SilverFin, Blood Fever, and Double or Die). The date of that release is unknown, although it’s likely to come out alongside the U.S. hardcover in April 2009.
