The good folks at Random House Audio & Listening Library tell us they will not be releasing an audiobook edition of Charlie Higson’s Hurricane Gold in the U.S.

Random House released unabridged audiobook versions the first three Young Bond novels, SilverFin, Blood Fever, and Double or Die, read by actor Nathaniel Parker.

However, it’s possible another publisher could pick up the audiobook rights for the U.S. market. Also, Parker’s unabridged reading of Hurricane Gold is currently available in the UK from BBC Audiobooks.

Hurricane Gold is set for release as a hardcover from Disney/Hyperion on April 7.
