Disappointing news for collectors today. Puffin has confirmed that they will not be releasing a By Royal Command Limited Collectors Edition this year.

All the Young Bond books up to this point have been released as Limited Collector’s Editions. The £25 slipcased volumes are published as Waterstone’s exclusives. However, the economic downturn has forced retailers to tighten their belts on such specials.

But not all hope is lost. Puffin says they will explore the possibility of releasing a Royal Command Limited Collectors Edition next year.
